Personal Data
Freeworld Airways VA always welcomes new pilots to its friendly community. You can look forward to great conversations in the Freeworld Forums, interesting and sometimes challenging routes within our global route network and maybe most importantly enjoy the great service Freeworld Airways provides to its pilots.
Once your complete registration has been sent of we will go over it within a maximum of three days. If there are no further questions you'll receive a welcome email from another pilot.
But what then? First of all, there are no restrictions within Freeworld Airways. You can chose any flight you want regardless your rank within the VA. You'll start out as a Trainee. This means that other pilots will keep an eye on you. You have a 14 day trial time in which Freeworld expects you to file a minimum of two flights.
At the end of this trial time you'll usually become a full member and First Officer.
Training
If you'd like to receive training, our training department will be just right for you. Experienced simulator and real world aviation pilots are more than happy to get you onto the right track so that you enjoy your hobby even more. Besides we're permanently extending our knowledge base which is full of valuable information, tutorials and training instructions.
Rules & Regulations
To make a community like Freeworld work, it requires a few defined rules which we ask you accept and respect. Violations of these rules result in punishment, most likely in form of a ban from Freeworld Airways.
- Be friendly. Treat other members the way you would like to be treated.
- Fly at least once all 60 days. Members who don't fly will be set as inactive. After an absence of 90 days your account will be deleted.
- Educate yourself. Our training department works hard to provide information in our knowledge base so that you can learn everything they know about flying. Use these resources before you ask trainers for help.
- Be honest. Don't tell us wrong birth dates, fake names or lie in the forums. In doubt about the truthfulness of something you provide, Freeworld Airways may asks you for proof (e.g. your identity).
- Members must be 16 years or older.
- Don't be an idiot.
By following these simple rules the Freeworld community stays a welcoming and nice place for simulator pilots from all over the world. Enjoy flying!
